Chalking a tyre of a car is a labour-intensive, time-consuming method of enforcing parking time regulations. To record when a vehicle has arrived and when it has overstayed its welcome, digital chalking uses cameras and vehicle recognition software (VRS). A High Tech Solution

A car’s parking status, license plate information, and the location of a tyre’s valve stem are all tracked by imaging units and vehicle recognition software (VRS) using a digital chalking system. The chalk is replaced by the valve stem location. The mechanism verifies the placement of the valve stem once more after the allotted parking time has gone. If it has not altered, it is possible for the driver to receive a fine if the car was parked there for an extended period.

ISSUE FINES AUTOMATICALLY

The system can automatically issue fines to offenders thanks to the full integration of the digital chalking technology with PERCS. It can connect to governmental databases like the DRTC in on-street parking applications, which can then issue tickets depending on the vehicle’s license plate.
